Edit are pleased to present our first Environmental Impact Report, collating data from the 1st of August 2021 to the 31st of July 2022.
As a B Corp certified business focused on improving the impact we leave on the planet, Edit have pledged to reduce our environmental footprint. We have taken significant steps towards doing so, from energy usage, to recycling, and carbon offsetting.
The report details the steps we have taken and the areas where we wish to improve further over the next 12 months.
Thomas Mudd, Head of Business Operations, explains:
Whilst our drive to reduce our environmental impact began long before the start of the period this report covers, it was during this time that our efforts were rewarded with the achievement of B Corp status in February. But Edit has not taken its foot off the accelerator since certification. We have made significant improvements, but we know we can do more, and a key part of my role is to drive forward a continuous programme to deliver lasting change.”
