News: Edit Earns B Corp Certification

Edit are pleased to announce that the business has achieved B Corp certification, joining the ranks of a select few businesses to achieve the certification in the UK. Certified B Corporations are business that have completed a rigorous screening process to ensure that businesses meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

Well-known B Corporations include Patagonia, Seventh Generation, Eileen Fisher, Allbirds, Ben & Jerry’s, Danone, and Burt’s Bee, with only a select few marketing agencies and consultancies achieving the certification. Across the UK, only just over 600 businesses, have achieved the certification to date.

Stacey Day, People Director is thrilled with the news,

“We’re pausing to celebrate, but the process has taught us so much, we’re going to keep learning and discovering new ways we can make changes for good and fulfil our commitment to a triple bottom line approach, which focuses on three P’s: people, profit, and planet.”

Rob McGowan, Edit Managing Director comments,

“Achieving B Corp status is a huge achievement as the work to achieve certification involves examination and refinement of a huge number of business processes and procedures. Ultimately it meant undertaking a re-evaluation of what a business should stand for and make a clear strategic decision to balance priorities away from pure profit making to a more equitable approach to doing business.”
