Identify customer base and create a personalised experience

edit

The Client

As of 2018 Pizza Hut has 16,796 restaurants worldwide making it the world’s largest pizza chain in terms of locations.

The Challenge

Pizza Hut wanted to start identifying their customers so they could deliver a better, personalised experience and increase customer engagement.

The Approach

We created an app that connected a customer’s orders and food preferences through a loyalty scheme. Not only did this boost re-visitation, but the geo-located app also decreased transactional barriers, which in turn increased table bookings.

The Results

As a result of the app, we noticed an increase in customer reach of a younger demographic, as well as increased repeat purchase and loyalty. Overall, Pizza Hut gained a deeper knowledge of its customers, enabling them to offer a more personalised experience.
